It's been nearly two weeks since my last post, which is both outrageous and a bit worrying, yet (regretfully) completely in keeping with my Schedule of Doom. I've spent most of the last month on this work routine:
8.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. -- proofread, mark essays, design socks, research paper, mark essays, make sandwich, wonder what the outdoors feels like, proofread, write paper, mark essays, chart socks, poke about in garden, ignore cats at window, proofread, mark essays
10.30 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. -- sleep
12.30 a.m. to 6.30 a.m. -- proofread, mark essays, typeset, research paper, mark essays, sneak in guilty look at Ravelry, wonder what Matthew's sleeping body feels like, edit patterns, mark essays, investigate wild student claims about modernism, ignore cats at window, typeset, write paper, mark essays
6.30 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. -- sleep
It's a bit like being a real grown-up but on a somewhat more sleep-deprived time clock.(Actually, it's like having children but without the children.)
HOWEVER, it should be improving soon. Maybe even this week. I got more than seven hours (seven hours!) sleep every single night this weekend. I'm nearly finished (this lot of) the essays, the typeset/proofread has been returned, teaching ends at the end of this week (barring the next lot of essays) and I delivered my paper so can now play about with it while knitting instead of tearing out my hair.

With the Easter coming, hope you're relaxing a bit?
have some time this week? could we meet over coffee sometime? I've got something for you--something delightful, for play! ^_^ get back to me!

Are you still hanging in there? It's been a while since we've heard from you...

Hopefully your schedule is slowing a little to allow you to get more sleep. Dont make yourself sick.

I spent most of my mornings panicking "I just can't do it! I'm a total failure I don't deserve to live etc." I turned out really tiring, and not productive at all. All that time that I could have used for editing (or sleep!)

Umm, that schedule sounds pretty bonkers... I saw your chianti sock pattern on Rav yesterday and thought it looked really cute.

Work sucks. I hope you manage a bit more sleep soon! Until then, good luck with the grading (which also sucks in its own special way) and teaching.

Eep...seriously, you need some chill out time! Hope you'll be remotely back to normal for the end of the month as I want to see you! You had any further thoughts on Andy's band's gig on the Saturday?

Crikey Emmms! PLEASE try to get more sleep and set aside some chill out time - I don't want you to get ill! And besides, I want to take you to Portobello for button shopping and coffee drinking!

I was going to write two papers this term. I've not even done the corrections on the one I did in December.
Bleeding marking!
Are you up for a quick escape to knitting this evening, would be good to see you (pretty sure I'm applying to goldsmiths for an MA next year, wanted to plot with you)
