I happen to be the mother of that lovely girl. And she is as sweet as you think. She's a great kid!

::sobs:: Aw, Emmms, did you have to go and make me cry??? What a lovely, wonderful thing to have an Emmms write about you! I did actually become the proud owner of a fabulous tiara this week. It's a sign. I know it. Loves to you!

Lix

Looking forward to seeing Matthew in his tiara! Blanket looks lovely. Sanity knitting rocks.

Sounds like the perfect project! A big snuggley blankie is exactly what is needed at this time of year. And your looks beautiful - more pictures of the whole thing please!

Robyn

I want to see the blanket in its full glory -- full shot, please!

Emilee

It's lovely!

You make me want to make a hap blanket. I have my eye on Knitpicks City Tweed heavy worsted... perhaps I'll just ask for gift certificates to KP this year for Christmas and get started (finally!).

'Lista and her mom are both now on my list of blogs. Her mom reminds me of my mom - consummate quilter and all-'round great lady. I love them both already.

Camille

More proof that knitting really is a healing art.

Curious as to your hap blanket's dimensions—I am working on an afghan right now and wondering how big is big enough to stop... :}
