It's been more than just Woebie reporting in the World of Emmms. This week I returned to my Ramona Quimby roots:
ate an amazingly authentically Canadian grilled cheese sandwich with home-made tomato soup:
discovered tiny sunflower shoots growing in my onions:
and finished a pair of perfectly red socks for my sister:
I've also sewn up 14 WIP buttoned bucket bags of various sizes, a billion lavender sachets and spent more time debating the merits of contrasting threads than I ever thought possible.

hey you look very cute in this new hairdo!
(I have mine cut short recently, too!)

1. I loved Ramona Quimby!
2. What makes this grilled cheese "Canadian"? Because I love grilled cheese, and if there's some secret I don't know ...

It must be that time of year (sheep shearing?) - looks great! And those socks look SO cosy!

Love the Ramona Quimby expression to go with the (cute) hair! The soup looks yummy too.

I like the new 'do!
I made lavender sachets for Christmas last year and tied them with a ribbon along with a bottle of essential oil or a pretty soap. Great way to use up some of the calicos in my fabric stash.
