The lens kept getting fogged up from the steam -- which is precisely what was wanting. It is cold today. Matthew and I are keeping up our annual refusal to turn on the heating until the beginning of November (along with my annual questioning of my sanity), not that it would matter particularly. The radiator in my office is still broken. Must get someone in to fix that...
Regardless, though I should be reading through a bit of Lacanian theory, I might go in for a nap. All that lovely lentily, kabocha squashy stew has made me sleepy. I must remember to post the recipe for this. It's the most lemon-squeezy hearty stew you can imagine. Once the veg is prepared it's less than 45 minutes to the table, with heaps leftover for lunch the next day.
Yum, yes please.
Hope you had a good nap. My flat is ber-loody freezing too. That may have something to do with the rotten window-frames, which mean there'd be no point in turning on the heating even if I was so inclined - it would just pour out of the cracks! I've filled the worst gaps with polyfilla, but those three hot water bottles I've been tucking around myself at night might have to start keeping me company on the sofa before long!
Thick socks and fingerless mittens are clearly the way forward :)

Looks yummy.
I go through the same thing with the heating -- will wait until I can bear it no longer before I turn it on!
