I work for Hodder & Stoughton, though sadly, yearnfully, not in the editorial dept.

If I were to read a spy type novel, I think it would be a le Carre. I don't know if this helps your inspynomo, but Radio 4 are serialising Smiley...

Kirsty

Is John le Carre on your spy author list? I've never read one, but the we've just reissued the Smiley series at work and I like the covers!

Ishbel has also made a bit of a Ysolda convert out of me too! I think the way the pattern is written makes helps with the 'mindless' aspect.

I'll be interested to see what books you'll be reading! It's a great idea...

A large stash of out-of-print paperbacks is one of the most satisfying possessions I can think of. I go for detective fiction, but InSpyNoMo sounds just as fabulous. Enjoy your month of good reading! (Can't wait to hear about it.)

Laura

I am slowly falling in love with Ysolda! I have become a hat person because of that woman!

Lara

I love the idea of InSpyNoMo and look forward to seeing what you read. (I'm still meaning to come back to the spy books phase) Lx
